    The Ass ignment Exhibition (Each college year)

    At the end of each semester, in June and December, first-year, second-year, and third-year students can present works that are produced through various assignments on the third floor of the College of Design building.

    Unity Events

    To facilitate successful student life and social advancement, the Department organizes various events such as MT and ID Students` Nights every year for the purpose of mentoring exchanges between seniors and juniors.

    Club Activities

    The Department of Industrial Design hosts four club activities. Transportation system club FORM, product club Jeffers, concept art club Force and 3D printing club M.Unit are active under the leadership of students, holding regular club exhibitions every semester.

    Special Alum Lectures

    Special lectures provide an opportunity to listen to the real-world design experiences of graduates from the Department who are passionately active in various design industry both domestically and internationally. Special lectures are held three to five times each semester where students can hear about stories of their interest from the design industry or from design firms.

  • 졸업전시회
    The Graduation Exhibition

    The Graduation Exhibition of fourth-year students at the Department of industrial is an exhibition that promotes design convergent ability in four design fields of product, transportation system, game, and environment, and showcases final products accordingly. The Graduation Exhibition is held in the first semester every year. The Department helps students carry out a project that can embrace a vision to the design start-up.

International Exchange

The Department of Industrial Design offers an opportunity to experience European culture and design trends every year by running an exchange student program with Strate College of Design, a prestigious design university in France. Every year, two to five students from Kookmin University Department of Industrial Design and French design students engage in design exchange to experience the educational environment and culture in both countries. In the Department of Industrial Design, Hold a design workshop around February every year with Department of Design Engineering at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan. This workshop is co-sponsored by the SGU (SUPER GLOBAL UNIVERSITY) program promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the University Characterization Team promoted by the Korea Education Department. Through this workshop, Korean-Japanese students with different cultural backgrounds aim to create mutual understanding and joint value through cultural exchange in addition to design exchanges.
