Globalization

Since the mid-1990s, the College of Design had begun
international exchanges with the institutions from foreign countries.

Having concluded a mutual exchange agreement with Helsinki University of Art and Design Helsinki in Finland in 1995, the College of Design has been expanding its agreements with approximately 45 outstanding universities in 15 countries, expanding joint researches and internships. In the form of exchange student programs (with credit exchanges), internships, mutual visits, joint research, exhibitions, workshops, and invited lectures, the College of Design is strengthening mutual cooperation with actual contents according to the needs of the whole university, each department or graduate school, or research institutes. In particular, the College of Design encourages undergraduate and graduate students to participate actively in international internships and exchange student programs that provide global experiences and diverse cultural experiences in the field of specialization, and actively supports foreign students for studying at the College of Design. This international environment is the basis for students to accept differences of culture and opinion from diverse people, and develop global minds as a designer, and to be active in the future international environment.
